Material honesty
Wood tells you how it was made.
Grain, joinery, weight, and small variations are part of the visual language. Sankra celebrates toys where the material is not hidden, but allowed to bring character.
About Sankra
Objects that keep their quiet magic.
Sankra is a digital gallery dedicated to the enduring appeal of handcrafted toys and collectible playthings. It is a place to look closely at the details that make a toy feel special: the curve of a carved back, the balance of a puzzle piece, the warmth of a well-loved surface.
Our focus is simple — traditional design, thoughtful making, and the kind of nostalgia that feels personal rather than prescribed.
A slower kind of play
Curiosity is the collection.
These are playthings that reward attention. A figure becomes a cast of characters; a puzzle becomes a ritual; a simple shape becomes a memory in the making.
The Sankra point of view
Keep the wonder. Lose the noise.
A small, carefully considered gallery for people who appreciate the handmade, the familiar, and the joy of finding something with a little soul.
